Environmental
In a world driven by digital communication, it's easy to forget that print and paper are among the most sustainable products available today. At Adelaide Image Printing, we believe that environmentally responsible printing is not only possible, it's essential. We’re proud to lead the way with certified practices that reduce waste, lower emissions, and deliver real results.
Our Certification
Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001 by ECAAS under JAS-ANZ accreditation, alongside ISO 9001 for quality and ISO 45001 for safety. It commits us to documented environmental policy, measurable improvement targets and independent audits. Environmental performance is something we are held to, not something we assert.

What we do
Four things shape the footprint of a print job: the stock, the ink, the plate and what is left over.

Stock
Paper from sustainable sources, specified for the job rather than defaulted to. Nothing heavier or more coated than the piece actually needs.

Ink
Soy-based inks across our presses. Renewable, and they de-ink more cleanly than petroleum-based inks when the paper is recycled.

Plates
Processor-free CTP plates, which cut water use and remove harsh developing chemicals from platemaking entirely.

Waste and energy
Offcuts and make-ready are separated and recycled, and energy use across the digital and offset floors sits inside our improvement targets.
What this means for your job
If sustainability sits in your procurement criteria, we can specify to it. That might be recycled or certified stock, a lighter grammage that still holds the job, an unlaminated finish that recycles cleanly, or holding stock in our warehouse and printing to demand so you are not writing off a pallet of superseded material.
Tell us the constraint and we will quote to it.
